Length conversions you can check
How to use the converter
Enter a known length in one field. The other fields update from that value. For example, one mile equals 1,609.344 meters, and one foot equals 0.3048 meters. Clear removes all values so you can start a new calculation.
Understand the result
These are linear lengths, not areas or volumes. Multiplying a length by a conversion factor once does not convert square feet to square meters; areas require the squared factor and volumes the cubed factor. Display rounding can hide small differences, so keep enough precision for the task.
Practical limits
Use the same measurement convention throughout a drawing or estimate. An international foot is the unit used here. Historical survey measurements may use a different definition and need a specialist conversion. The tool does arithmetic locally; it does not measure a building or establish a legal boundary.
